 Words dallied in my mind, all huddled together,<\/span><\/p>\n

Quite reluctant to disentangle from each other,<\/span><\/p>\n

And fly down to my blank, clean page.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wanted to assign names, to my varied emotions,<\/span><\/p>\n

That all at once, filled my heart, with tumultuous commotion,<\/span><\/p>\n

Like birds, trapped in the long forgotten, rusted cage.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was the freedom we all fought for,<\/span><\/p>\n

Our rights, that had equality for all- once again let\u2019s behold that faith,<\/span><\/p>\n

And summon thy feelings, that\u2019s called, grit and courage.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Serenading the words, thus nestled in my mind,<\/span><\/p>\n

They beseech them, to not be afraid, for, the truth is one,<\/span><\/p>\n

Truth is ultimate-It\u2019s the opposite that we must assuage.<\/span><\/p>\n
